From time to time a person enters the gym and in a very short time begins to look so much different and move so much better that before that you have to do a quick double take to make sure its the same person.
Sam is one of those people.
In less than 4 months Sam lost 16.8 total pounds and dropped 32.4 pounds fat mass while gaining 15 pounds of solid muscle not to mention dropping 3 dress sizes! This isn’t a story of dropping a few pounds but a story of true body transformation.
Here’s Sam in her own words.
I appreciate the modifications that are helping me get closer to the actual movement. The cues I get for lifting are the best I’ve ever gotten from any CrossFit coach, and I feel improvement every time, which is another thing that keeps me coming back.
At first I was intimidated by the prospect of walking into a close-knit gym community and not knowing anyone however Scott and Cynthia both made me feel welcome and wanted. For the first time, I felt like someone actually cared about my progress and was paying attention, and it made me want to come every day and work my hardest to make them proud.
Although I’ve NEVER been an athlete, I’m starting to consider myself one.
